How to Install Patches for WoW Requiem

- First copy and paste WoWME into you World of Warcraft main folder.
- After that send a shortcut of WoWME to your desktop
- Then right click and hit properties, got to change icon then browes and naviaget to your WoW Folder click on the Laucher or Application Icon and hit ok, this will change the icon to the Wow Symbol. Rename it to World of Warcraft since this is how you will start the game from now on.
- Then copy and paste all of the patch files into your Data folder.
- When ever a new patch is release you just copy and paste it in the Data folder
- Run wow from the new WoW Shortcut we created and on the logon menu hit F8 before log on
- You will only have to do this once, and obviously anytime you add a new patch

I've been getting a lot of complaints about the Dark Elf patch causing the eye glow on Blood elves to turn to red from green, so expect a fix for that in the coming few days plus a set of high resolution hair color packs for Night Elves personally skinned by me. Hopefully soon I'll be able to crack the faces next, because I would love to make some improved faces for both night elves and humans, I'm not a fan of the Blizz ones and I think I can do a lot better.

Whats The WoWME on the first instruction??

i was wondering if work was being done to allow the female blood elf models to use the dark elf skins.

heres an idea, how about new hair styles? that might be something cool...especially since all of the BE guys hair styles look sorta gay except for 2

Such an idea would require modeling skills (which I have) and programming skills (which I do not have). As far as I know, I don't think there's a way to expand the options, so it would require replacing an existing style, and someone will bitch when their favorite hairstyle is gone. Here's a tip, try rolling something other than a BE if you don't like the hairstyles, we're overflowing with Blood Elves!

I am considering a patch that makes the male blood elves more like how they looked in the beta though, more Link less steroids. But my beloved Night Elves come first with several facial changes, more detailed hair, and a leaner male model with smaller hands. Yes...this will take a while...

Dude, they looked so much better in Beta! They had more realistic proportions. Like I said anyways, I'll probably get to Nightelves first, then Humans. Humans could definitely do with a makeover, leaner thighs on the females and less beefy males with better facial skins.

I just want female BE's to be able to use the dark elf skin. Its not fair that only the men can use them.

I'm not going to make them skinnier in the waist region, just the thighs. Humans are far from fine, they're the most disproportionate of all the other races.

Yeah they do need some tweaking. Humans should be more realistic.

If I were to download the patch and do the instructions. If I wanted to play Retail again would I just have to Down-grade then repair and it would be fix? Yes I still like to play retail.

I think all you would have to do is just change realmlist back to normal and well get the new patch for WoW retail, but if you wanted to come back you would have to delete patches, do a repair then get it to these patch requirment... Oh if you try to play Retail and it messes up and is all weird you just go to the patches you got from here and move them to another file for safe keeping so you won't have to keep on deleting the patches and reinstalling them to get back on here.

Then when I go to open it it says "The Version of WoWME was complied for World of Warcraft (build 9947)" Please help. Even now I cant start Wow.exe.

Ok Keep Wowme in that folder now tell me what is your realmlist set to?

Hey, im having the same problem, when i use wowme it gives an error saying i am using an incorrect build. my realm list is set to set realmlist wow-requiem.servegame.org
